1. What this service is
The Hexagrams (thehexagrams.com) offers I Ching hexagram casting, hexagram reference material, and Chinese BaZi (Four Pillars) chart calculation, along with optional paid digital products: AI-written readings of your own cast ($4.99) and BaZi reports ($19.99–$59.99). Casting and core readings are free; all purchases are one-time. There are no subscriptions.
2. Entertainment only
Everything on this site is provided for entertainment and personal reflection. Readings are not medical, legal, financial, psychological, or professional advice of any kind. Nothing here predicts the future. Do not make health, legal, financial, or safety decisions based on a reading; consult a qualified professional instead.
3. Who may use it
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a paid reading. The free casting features may be used by anyone old enough to form their own judgment about entertainment content.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the questions you write. You grant us a limited, temporary license to process them for the sole purpose of generating your reading. Do not submit content that is unlawful, that infringes others' rights, or that contains sensitive personal data about third parties.
5. Purchases
Paid readings are one-time digital products, delivered on the website immediately after generation. Prices are shown before purchase and payments are processed by our merchant of record, Subotiz. Because each reading is generated uniquely from your own cast and question, two purchases made with identical inputs may still differ in wording. See ourRefund Policy for when a refund is available.
6. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to overload, scrape at scale, reverse-engineer, or resell the service or its outputs as your own product. We may limit usage to keep the service available for everyone.
7. Intellectual property
The site's design, code, and modern-language interpretive texts are © The Hexagrams. Hexagram source material derives from the public-domain Legge translation (1899). The I Ching as a text of antiquity is in the public domain; we claim no exclusive right to it.
8. No warranty & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and in no event will we be liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Changes & contact
